Shaquille O'Neal has quite a celebration for his 34th birthday; he decided to go with a great victory for his team O'Neal was accountable for scoring a total of eight points in overtime and finished with a season-high 35 as the Heat once again beat a poorer opponent the NBA Charlotte Bobcats.

This is the second straight NBA game that Shaquille has to manage without Dwyane Wade, who is out because of a sprinted wrist, but still the Heat pulled through with O'Neal and Jason Williams combining for 27 points in the fourth quarter to force the extra session, where O'Neal took care of all the scoring himself.

Shaquille also had 12 rebounds this helped the Heat to their ninth consecutive victory. Although he missed some opportunities to put Miami on top, he made reparation in the extra period. He scored on all four of his attempts, three of them being dunks and also had three rebounds to finally put the Bobcats away and close out his birthday with a victory. There is no need for more celebration after this last minute performance. But, I also have to give some credit the Bobcats rookie Raymond Felton who split two free throws with 34 ticks remaining and to Udonis Haslem who sealed the win for the Heat by pulling down a crucial offensive rebound after a missed jumper by Payton, allowing Miami to win by one point.
