Buy A Business Far Away And Make More Money (With Less Stress) Than The Local Donut Shop Owner

Author: Art Hamel

If you've ever wanted to buy and own a business that is a thousand...five thousand...even ten thousand miles away, and be completely "hands off", where you do nothing but cash checks for a living, then I've got good news for you.

When I used to put on seminars on buying businesses people would always ask me, "can you manage it from a distance?"

My answer has always been, "Yes!"

In fact, in the past 25 years especially, I have not worked hands-on for any company. If you want to keep from getting grey and old before your time, consider not being a "hands-on" manager, because one of the best things that happens is you dont have people bugging you all the time since youre not there.

When you buy a large enough business with investors, theres a manager there that takes care of the problems. Plus, if you want to buy multiple businesses (and make some real money), its a very difficult thing to do when youre personally running any one of them yourself.

Frankly, it's amazing how once you pull away and dont run those businesses, how easy it is to buy and own multiple companies. Youre actually going to have less stress running five companies where you're "hands-off" than the average guy with the little donut shop.

People sometimes find this hard to believe, but it's the truth. It's been my experience with the companies I run. So this is not based on some fantasy I have or something that I read in a book. It is based on actual experience. If you do it right, and are hands-off, you can own businesses in different countries and never deal with even a lick of stress. That's what the managers you have in place are for.
