Well it appears that a Florida judge has dismissed charges against the young cute Florida school teacher who had sex with her 14-year old young stud student. And many are laughing at the whole thing, but not all the moms out there. One very sincere Mom on a political blog is appalled. So, one gentleman wrote back to her:

"Dear Mom, Unbelievable is indeed a good screen especially for this issue. I can tell you that my Mom is a "Great Mom" like you also and she would never have put up with this at any of her three kids schools. And yes she was involved; she went to everyone one of my Sister's cheerleading events and drove her and her friends to the practices, attended everyone of my brother's soccer games and everyone of my track meets. Sometimes I wonder how she did it all. One hell of a woman she is. She had three adorables indeed; so I imagine if anything like this ever happened, why you bet she would be livid. But it didn't to her kids at the public schools and we know things like this do occasionally happen and occasionally you hear about it [one in 10,000] maybe more in communities, at least you hear about it; although it is not acceptable whatsoever, it does happen."

As far as myself well yes I do agree that this sets a horrible example and even worse when it is showed on TV and one commentator said it was shown on TV as many times as the Howard Deans over exuberant comments at a rally. By playing it up in the media it gives ideas to borderline unstable teachers and young students. The message to the Moms on Blogs read loud and clear;

"Mom, I understand completely how you feel and you are right. Perhaps the reason they play this on TV so much is because the young gal is very pretty and looks so innocent. We now know well she probably should not have been teaching that is for sure. You have every right to be argumentative and appalled and even perturbed at the lack of caring and attitude here on this board."

Many of the bloggers appear to condone the teachers behavior and are calling the young man a Super Stud for doing the teacher, although some of the comments appear to be more like votes for the gals good looks; as if a rating of 1-10 scale, some appear to be joking the issue away and other are perhaps mean spirited, although that is the Internet for you.

But in the end it is pretty lousy situation and to all the Moms out there; "You are a great Mom and it shows, never apologize for that." Consider all this in 2006.
