New Zealand Vacation Accommodations

New Zealand, known as God's Own Country is one of the world's top travel destination. It is located in the South Pacific Ocean and is sparsely populated. It draws tourists because of its natural beauty and huge selection of outdoor and adventure activities. There are unlimited places to stay in New Zealand for travelers with all kinds of budgets. There are international hotels in all major cities, including luxury, moderate and low budget. There are also Youth Hostels, homes, farms and other types of lodging spattered throughout the countryside.

There are also camping grounds throughout the country, as well as in New Zealand's national parks. Some tourists rent campers and travel from campground to campground taking in the sites as they go. Some campsites are free and are commonly used by bike touring groups who need accommodations for the night.

You will also find websites that feature lists of homes that can be rented for vacations and long term stays. Some are located on lakes like the beautiful Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown. Queenstown is known for its world class skiing and golfing, as well as fishing, white water rafting, jet boating and more. You can rent a home, apartment of condo for a very affordable cost.

For luxury full-service accommodations, there are a number of resorts located on lakes that offer weekly rates are designed for family vacations. These stays are suitable for fishing and swimming. Many of the lakes stock trout and are perfect for fly-fishing.

Most of the hostels in New Zealand are part of a network that include Budget Backpacker Hostels offer over 290 hostels, VIP that has almost 100 hotels and YHA with 63 hostels. They are located throughout the North and South Island of New Zealand and are great budget accommodations.
